Marie-Claude Marsh, T.S., M.S.S., LPN, auxiliary nurse in medical aesthetics
Marie-Claude is a social worker and has been a member of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux du Québec since 2002, as well as an auxiliary nurse and member of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec since 2013. She has a combined total of 24 years of experience working with geriatric and mental health clients. She began her career in crisis centers. She also worked for approximately ten years at the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve CLSC, providing in-home services to clients with loss of functional autonomy. She has developed strong expertise working with family caregivers. Having collaborated with employee assistance programs as well as the Commission de la construction du Québec, she has significant experience working with workers experiencing psychological distress.
At the clinic, she conducts psychosocial assessments for the purpose of validating incapacity mandates and opening protective regimes. She is a true coach for family caregivers, equipping and supporting them to better cope with the many challenges of caregiving.
With regard to nursing care, Marie-Claude has a strong interest in technology and medical aesthetics. She has been a laser technician for 10 years and has dual expertise in permanent hair removal and skincare, serving LGBTQ2+ and multiethnic clientele.
