Occupational therapy is a regulated healthcare profession that supports the development, recovery, or maintenance of daily activities, known as occupations, that may be impacted by physical or mental health conditions.

We provide assistance in various areas, including:

General mental health support, time management, strategies to optimize work and studies.
Interventions for individuals with ADHD, return-to-work plans, sport or school re-entry.
Functional evaluations, including assessments for swallowing and feeding difficulties (dysphagia), home evaluations, adapted transport assessments, and evaluations for handicapped parking permits.
Strategies for dementia care, ergonomic evaluations, care for trans and gender-diverse individuals, and advocacy for occupational rights.
Support in navigating the healthcare system.

Functional Interventions:

At Clinique Vivago, we offer comprehensive functional assessments for individuals experiencing functional decline. Our goal is to prevent further deterioration, reverse decline when possible, and assist in developing adaptive strategies or environmental modifications to help you carry out activities that are meaningful or necessary in your life.

Dysphagia, Swallowing, and Feeding Difficulties:

Experiencing coughing or choking while eating? Our team has advanced training in evaluating and treating dysphagia (swallowing and feeding difficulties), offering personalized solutions to improve safety and comfort during meals.

Ergonomic Assessments:

Do you suffer from neck pain due to long hours of Zoom or Teams meetings? Our team provides formal evaluations of your work environment, offering tailored recommendations to improve ergonomics, reduce discomfort, and enhance your workspace setup.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge.
Less than 24 hours’ notice (cancel or reschedule): 50% of the appointment fee + applicable taxes.
No-show / missed appointment (no notice): 100% of the appointment fee + applicable taxes.

Acknowledgment: By booking an appointment with us, the client acknowledges and agrees that these fees may apply, and that the clinic reserves the right to charge these fees when applicable.
