In support of the Vivago: Let's Do campaign

A note from our founders

The Vivago Mental Health Foundation was born from a deep passion and unwavering commitment to breaking down financial barriers that prevent people from accessing the mental healthcare they need.

What sets us apart as a not-for-profit foundation is our hands on approach. We don't just advocate for change; we actively provide direct mental health educational, clinical services, and peer support to bridge critical gaps in the Canadian healthcare system.

At the heart of our mission is a dedication to creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals from marginalized communities can access care without fear of judgment or discrimination. The Vivago Mental Health Foundation knows that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

To help us bring this vision to life, we've brought together a compassionate team of diverse professionals with expertise in healthcare, human rights, and the unique challenges faced by multiple marginalized communities. Together we're building a community where mental health care is truly accessible for all.

Our Vision

Vivago Mental Health Foundation envisions a world where finances are not a factor stopping people from receiving proper quality mental healthcare services. We believe that mental healthcare is a fundamental right for everyone regardless of age, education, income level, race, gender, etc.

Our Mission

Pride flag

Our mission is to introduce innovative approaches to healthcare delivery while optimizing access to mental health services, for individuals at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities.

We aim to:

  1.  Provide direct professional mental health services to young adults and women from marginalized or vulnerable groups, including individuals facing barriers to healthcare or with visible or invisible disabilities.

  2. Offer training to healthcare professionals and the community on mental health issues affecting young adults and women from marginalized or vulnerable groups.

Our Activities

The Vivago Mental Health Foundation is:

Funding mental health services for underserved communities and individuals at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities.

Providing education and training to healthcare professionals and communities on how to better support marginalized communities, and how to provide inclusive and affirming mental health care.

Expanding access to innovative, inclusive, and equitable mental health care by breaking down stigma and reaching more people in need through outreach and awareness campaigns.

Vivago: Let's Do

Our healthcare system has gaps, and marginalized communities bear the heaviest burden. Too many people are left without the mental health support they need simply because they can’t afford it. That’s why we’re here—to change that.
