Psychiatrist Position

A Collaborative and Intellectually Engaging Practice

 

Vivago Inclusive Health Clinic is seeking a Psychiatrist who wishes to practice in a structured, thoughtful, and interdisciplinary clinical setting, serving adults and young adults with complex presentations.

 

We welcome applications from psychiatrists who are:

  • practicing under RAMQ, or

  • working in private practice (non-participation in RAMQ)

 

Vivago is distinguished by an integrative approach grounded in functioning, neurocognition, trauma, and the social determinants of mental health. Our clientele includes individuals experiencing mood disorders, complex anxiety disorders, developmental trauma, neurodivergence, identity-related concerns, and academic or occupational burnout.

 

Our clinical environment is intentionally designed to support reflection, collaboration, and high-quality psychiatric reasoning.

What Makes This Opportunity Unique

Structured Transfer of Care

 

A psychiatrist currently on staff will be leaving in Spring 2025. A well-organized transition will support continuity of care for a motivated, stable client base already engaged in interdisciplinary treatment.

 

 

Flexibility and Autonomy

  • Initial commitment possible of 1 to 2 days per week

  • Opportunity to increase gradually over time

  • Full autonomy in organizing your clinical practice

 

 

Clear Practice Model

The psychiatrist may practice:

 

  • under RAMQ, or

  • in a fully private model

 

The clinic’s administrative structure is designed to support both practice models effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a psychiatrist who demonstrates clinical maturity, professional autonomy, and intellectual rigor.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Valid licence from the Collège des médecins du Québec

  • Practice under RAMQ or in private practice

  • Interest in complex and intersectional clinical presentations

  • Sensitivity to trauma-informed and inclusive care

  • Desire to work in a non-hierarchical, collaborative, and high-standard environment
